The road car the GT4 R comes from.
Front-mid-engined, and the only Vantera built in continuous production. A 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six sits behind the front axle line — 375 kW to 7,200 rpm, through a seven-speed dual-clutch transaxle. The chassis is bonded aluminium with composite outer panels, chosen because a damaged panel is a part number rather than a repair. 1,420 kg with fluids. The rear wing is small on purpose.

The category is cost-controlled. So is the car.
Homologated by SRO in 2021 and raced by customer teams since. The production dual-clutch transaxle is retained and the engine is sealed for 20,000 km. What changes is the cage, the 100-litre FT3 cell, the dampers, the brakes and the cooling. It is a production car with a competition licence, which is the point of the category and the reason it costs what it does to run.
